This Shop App Connection Privacy Disclosure (“Disclosure”) supplements the Receipt Hog Privacy Policy and describes how Market Track, LLC d/b/a Numerator (“Numerator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you connect your Shop App account to Receipt Hog through our Link feature. By enabling the consent toggle and connecting your Shop App account, you consent to the data practices described in this Disclosure.
This Disclosure applies only to U.S. users.
Information We Collect Through Your Shop App Connection
When you authorize a connection between your Shop App account and Receipt Hog, we collect purchase history information from your Shop App account, including:
- Transaction details: retailer name, store type (in-store or online), transaction date, and transaction ID
- Purchase information: items purchased, item prices, subtotal, tax, shipping costs, discounts applied, and basket total
- Payment method type: the type of payment method used (e.g., American Express, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna, or other buy-now-pay-later services), excluding card numbers or the last four digits of any payment card
- Fulfillment details: whether your order was fulfilled via pickup or delivery
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect the following information through your Shop App connection:
- Shipping or billing addresses
- Payment card numbers, including the last four digits
- Banking or financial account information
- Any other personally identifiable information beyond what is described above
Your Shop App Account
Your Shop App account is governed by Shop App’s own terms of service and privacy policy. By connecting your Shop App account to Receipt Hog, you authorize us to access your purchase history as described in this Disclosure. Numerator is not responsible for Shop App’s privacy practices. We encourage you to review Shop App’s privacy policy for information about how Shop App collects, uses, and shares your data.
How We Use This Information
We use the purchase information collected through your Shop App connection for the same purposes described in the Receipt Hog Privacy Policy, including:
- Providing market research reports and consumer insights to our clients
- Performing analytics, market research, and trend analysis
- Improving and developing our products and services
- Determining your eligibility for surveys, promotions, or other programs
How We Share This Information
Any sharing of information collected through your Shop App connection follows the same practices described in the Receipt Hog Privacy Policy. When we share purchase data with our clients, we generally seek to limit identifiers and disclose aggregated or de-identified data when feasible.
Your Rights and Choices
You may disconnect your Shop App account from Receipt Hog at any time through the Link tab in the Receipt Hog App. Disconnecting will stop future data collection from your Shop App account but will not delete data previously collected.
You may exercise your privacy rights—including rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information—through the same process available to all Receipt Hog users.
